Rank Director to Step Down
One of the most experienced businessmen on the Board of Directors at Rank has announced that he will be stepping down at the end of the year.

Non-Executive Director Brendan O'Neill is to leave at the end of December after three years of service to the gaming giant, the UK’s second largest operator of land-based casinos. Maidenhead-based Rank also operates online casino and gaming sites including meccabingo.com, grosvenorcasinos.com and grosvenorpoker.com.

O’Neill joined the board in October of 2004 after previously serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Director for Imperial Chemical Industries. The 58-year-old has also held numerous senior positions at Guinness including Chief Executive for Guinness Brewing Worldwide Ltd, Managing Director for the International Region for United Distillers and as the Director of Financial Control. He has also held positions at HSBC Holdings, BICC and the Ford Motor Company.

O’Neill also serves as the Chairman for RAC Pension Trustees Limited and as a Non-Executive Director for Aegis Group, Tyco International Ltd, Watson Wyatt Worldwide Inc and Endurance Speciality Holdings Ltd, a Bermuda-based insurance company.
