Arguably the largest and most popular professional poker tournament series in the world, World Series of Poker (WSOP), is poised to get some great exposure from their most recent online endorsement, paving way for even more integration with the booming online poker community. The popular online poker room, Everest Poker, recently issued a press release touting their multi-year deal with WSOP to brand the felt and inner rung of final WSOP tables, and spoke out regarding the November 2008 schedules.
Jennifer Joyce, who is Chief Marketing Officer for Everest Poker, said the scheduling will give more European poker fans a better chance to see the largest poker event in the word. Considering that Everest Poker’s online betting demographic is largely European, not only will the deal give WSOP more exposure, it will allow more European poker players to get in on the action of WSOP online satellite tournaments.

Everest will also no doubt receive a surge in exposure resulting from the deal. It is estimated they will reach an international audience of 200 million by means of WSOP’s massive branding and televesion coverage.

Apparently, there is a new format to the scheduling - with an aim to spike interest in more people about the game of poker. Everest Poker certainly takes that mission seriously by offering a host of incentives to new players who open a real money account with them. Everest also permits players to participate in fun "play money" games to become more familiar with the online formalities of poker. While they are not open to the U.S., Everest has done quite well with the international betting community at large. In 2004, they were one of the first online poker rooms to launch a multilingual platform catering to players around the world.
