The World Series of Poker was in full gear over the weekend and many tournaments have ended. Most notably, Scott Seiver won Event #21, a No-Limit Hold’em tournament with a $5,000 buy in. Seiver held off a tough field of competitors. 731 players entered the tournament, and Seiver walked away with $755,891 for his first place finish. He also won a WSOP bracelet. Dave Seidman finished in second place, also winning a nice chunk of money, $482,372. Max Pescatori walked away a champion from Event #24, a Pot-Limit Hold’em/Omaha tournament. He defeated a field of 457 players, and won $246,471. Kyle Kloeckner finished in second place, winning $152,410. In one of the more anticipated tournaments at this year’s World Series of Poker, some heavy names are still trying to capture a bracelet. The event is the World Championship Heads Up No-Limit Hold’em, a $10,000 buy in tournament. Currently, only four players remain. Vanessa Selbst, who is making quite a name for herself at this year’s WSOP is facing off with Alec Torelli. In the other semi-final match, Kenny Tran and Jonathan Jaffe are battling it out. Jaffe has the chip lead in that match, 1,525,000 to 1,035,000. Four other tournaments are also in progress, with a World Championship Limit-Hold’em event ready to begin shortly here at the Rio Casino in Las Vegas. Source:http://www.casinogamblingweb.com/ |
