Operators Now Have Multiple Choices
Players will benefit from new changes to software provider agreements. The major online casinos software providers often had clauses in the contracts that restricted the other games that an internet gambling company could provide on one site, but all of that seems to be changing as the industry evolves. Wagerworks has announced a new online casino client software that will bring IGT and Wagerworks titles to internet gambling companies that might have software on other gambling platforms.

The new casino client software was showcased at the International Casino Exhibition and others in the internet gambling industry were invited to visit the Wagerworks booth and ask questions about the new product. The Commercial Director for Wagerworks, Tom Kenny, commented that the new “fully managed casino client” will be released to the online gambling industry after the meetings at ICE Interactive.

Kenny also attributed the development of the new casino client to the changing needs of customers in the online casinos industry. He remarks, "With customer needs changing, a “tied” deal with platform suppliers and the resultant restriction in content provision is no longer an option," says Kenny. "WagerWorks RGS means site operators have no need to spend vast amounts of money to re-programme games or change site software, as the system integrates with existing platforms and back office systems."

Wagerworks is a subsidiary of IGT and a respected name in the online gambling industry. This new product offering is a new concept in the industry, but based on positive feedback at the Exhibition, Wagerworks anticipates it will sell successfully.
