It looks like Spain could be one of the next major online casinos betting markets in the very near future. Currently only Madrid is really open to internet betting, but now two more regions are contemplating licensing and regulating internet betting companies to operate within that specific region. While not having very permissive regulations and legislation regarding online casinos gambling, it looks like the potential tax revenues and the growing global popularity of betting and gambling could turn the tide of opinion in the regional governments.

Unlike many nations, Spain has several autonomous regions within the country, and the national government has given each of the regions the right to decide whether or not to license and regulate online casinos gambling.
